FINALLY... It's set in stone.

Well it looks like we have finally figured out where we are going this summer!
Good ol' Mobile, Alabama.

When Bruce first told me Mobile, Alabama my first thought was what the heck is in Alabama! It should be a fun summer though. Surprisingly, there is alot to do in Mobile (who would have guessed) and there will be a bunch of fun wives out there to hang out with! We will be 45 minutes away from one of the nicest beaches in the United States, Pensacola, Florida.

Hopefully I come back with a good tan!

Valentine's Day!

Bruce left for Dallas on Wednesday. It was really hard, I think harder than we both thought it would be. So I wasn't expecting anything great for Valentines Day... I am babysitting my nephews and niece tonight. I guess I need to learn my cute husband is full of surprises! I woke up this morning, and to my surprise the doorbell rings and someone is delivering some beautiful white roses to ME! I was so excited! I have the best husband in the world, and I am so grateful for him! He is honestly my very best friend. I feel like I can hardly function without him... I am so lucky to have him in my life! Happy Valentines Babe, I love you so much!

Change of Plans...

Well... once again we have a change of plans. I feel like everytime I turn around we are going somewhere new! Bruce is leaving Wednesday morning for Dallas, Texas. We found out last minute that it would take him 1 month to get licensed for Vegas, so sadly we can't go there! I am pretty excited about Dallas, I have heard there is some amazing shopping there! Then for the summer we will be in Orlando, Florida which will be a blast! I'll keep everyone posted with what's going on while we are gone for the summer!

On the road again...

Well Bruce and I are heading to Las Vegas in about a week so he can sale alarm systems! We will be in Vegas for a few months and then we are going to decide from there if we are going to stay, or go to Atlanta, Georgia for the summer. Bruce is driving up there next week and then I am flying up there the following week. It should be a lot of fun!

Mission Call!!!

My little brother got his mission call today!!! He is going to
LIMA, PERU!!!
He reports to the MTC in Utah on May 6, 2009.
I am so grateful for the sacrifice Colton is making to serve the Lord for 2 years. He has always had such a strong testimony and been such an amazing example to me. He will honestly be an amazing missionary!!!!

Cabin Trip!

For New Years Bruce and I went up to my parents cabin. It was so much fun, and so relaxing! My parents came up a couple days after we got there and it was a nice little retreat for all of us. I love getting away and spending time with Bruce. Going up to the cabin gives us the chance to forget everything for just a couple days and enjoy our time together...no tv or computer! The snow was so deep it went up past my knees! It took Auggie awhile to get use to the snow. One of the last days my dad and Bruce were trying to get some of the snow off the roof, so while Bruce was up on the latter I leaned out the window and threw snow at him! In return I threw me in the snow and I had a major face plant! It was so much fun, I'm so grateful for the chance we had to get away!

Our Christmas

Christmas was so good for us this year. Our parents did way to much for us, and we are grateful for all of them. We had a fun day, full of lots of family and many laughs! We started out the morning by going to my parents house at 7:30 to open presents with everyone. Then we went to my in-laws and played some fun games, ate a yummy breakfast, and opened presents. From there we went over to my dads parents, then we went to the movies with Bruce's parents. After the movie we went out to my mom's parents house for dinner, and we ended the night playing Wii and watching a movie at Bruce's parents house. I love this time of year, and the opportunity we have to reflect on Christ's birth and all the sacrifices he made for us.

Here are Bruce's gifts from me, I also got him some lawn stuff!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday! I love Christmas and the meaning of Christmas, but there is so much stress around Christmas time (at least for me). If I didn't have to worry about shopping and finding the perfect gift for everyone, It would be the best... Thanksgiving is just perfect! You are surrounded by the people you love, and you get to eat lots of yummy food. I have so much to be thankful for this year, it's hard to know where to start (this might be a long post sorry). I am so thankful for MY FAMILY- I have a husband, that is just amazing. He knows just what to say to put a smile on my face. He is the most honest, humble, and kind person I have ever met. I seriously feel honored just to know him, let alone to be his wife. He is my constant support system, and my best friend. I would honestly be lost without him. I am so grateful that we had the opportunity to be sealed in the temple, and to have an eternal family. I love you baby! Our parents... Bruce and I both have such amazing parents. They are always there for us when we need them and are such special parts of our lives. I am so grateful to be apart of my family and to grow up with the parents I did. I couldn't have asked for better parents. I lucked out even more when I married into such an amazing family. My in-laws are the best! Our Siblings... I love all my brothers so much. If I ever need anything, I know I can call any of them and they will be there as soon as they can (some might take longer than others!) My sister-in-laws are just as great! I never thought I would become so close with them. I love both of them so much and I am so grateful they put up with my brothers. Bruce's siblings are just as great. I seriously look forward to the times we all get together. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have had to work with Brookie, and the friendship we share. Dalan is great too! Next, I am grateful for OUR JOBS- With the economy the way it is, it's scary to know what the future brings. Bruce and I were talking a couple days ago how grateful we are that the economy hasn't affected us yet, because we know there are so many people out there that are having such a hard time with it. I am so grateful we both of jobs, so we can pay the bills and even get all the little things we don't necessarily need. THE GOSPEL- Words can not explain how grateful I am to have the gospel in my life. I am so grateful for the standards it taught me growing up, and for the opportunity I have to go to church every Sunday, so I have a place to really feel the spirit. I am grateful we have the opportunity to teach the 10 year olds. It is amazing to me how much they know, and I love seeing their faces when they hear a story from the scriptures for the first time. OUR HOME, FOOD & ALL THE OTHER THINGS WE HAVE IN THIS LIFE- I am so grateful for the home we live in, and that we actually have a roof over our head. I am thankful for the food we have, and I am grateful the Prophets have taught us to get food storage so we will have food during hard times. I am thankful that I am able to decorate a home & have it the way I want it. I am thankful for water & electricity and all the things you really don't think about until you don't have them! Last but not least, I am so grateful for my HEAVENLY FATHER & JESUS CHRIST- Just thinking about all they have done for me brings tears to my eyes. I am so thankful for the sacrifices they made, so that we can live with them again. I cannot wait for the day that I will be able to see my Savior again. I can't wait to thank him for all he has done for me. I am so grateful that I can get down on my knees and pray to him, and know he is listening. I am so grateful for the Holy Ghost. Through high school, I had some pretty hard times, and I depended on Heavenly Father so much. He was always there for me, and he always comforted me. I know without a doubt he would never put us in a situation we could not handle, and I am so grateful he knows each and every one of us so well.
---
I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope you really take the time to think about all that you are thankful for!

3TV at Lollilocks!

Good Morning Arizona was at Lollilocks today. Brad Perry came to hang out with us! I had to wake up at 3:30 this morning, to be at work by 4:45. I was exhausted! We had little segments from 5:45-9am. My sister-in-law Brecken came in and I was excited to see her, she hung out with us all morning...Then my nephews came in so they could be on TV! It was a pretty fun morning, but I crashed when I got home.
