end in sight!!!!!

I miss my husband...  He has only been gone for a day, but it has been a long, lonely month!  I have cherished the time he is home... but he has been gone so much!  I can't wait for December to get here.  Every year I tell myself I am not going to let him go on all those dang hunts.. But hunting season comes around and I know how much he loves it.  I am lucky, because he is so good about making the time we have together memorable.  He is such a sweet guy, and I am so lucky to have him.  I seriously cannot wait for Sunday to get here!!! Luckily this is a short hunt, and he is having a lot of fun teasing his little sister Brecken.  You would think after being married for almost 5 years I would be use to him going hunting.. but I'm not gonna lie, every time he leaves I cry and every time he comes home I get butterflies in my tummy!

On another note, I just have to post these adorable pictures of our daughter..  She looks just like her daddy and I wouldn't have it any other way :)  We took these a few days ago, and she LOVES being on daddy's shoulders!  I absolutely love the bond that these two have.. they are adorable together!

a time to give thanks....

I love Thanksgiving!  You don't have all the chaos from Christmas, but you have all the yummy food and family.  Thanksgiving also gives me a chance to sit down and reflect on all the things Heavenly Father has blessed us with.

First and foremost I am so thankful for my FAMILY.  I have been blessed with an incredible husband, and an amazing daughter.  Bruce loves me through my flaws, is supportive with everything I do, and is my absolute best friend in this world.  I can talk to him about anything.. Bristyn has the cutest little personality in the world, and it melts my heart when she just wants her mommy.  I am so grateful to have such an amazing little family...

Second, I am grateful for the GOSPEL.  For the knowledge it gives me..  For the opportunity I have to be an eternal family, to know the plan of salvation, and to know Heavenly Father loves me.  I am grateful I live in a place that it is so easy to go to church, and to the Temple.  I am grateful for the Priesthood in my home, and for a husband that holds the Priesthood.  I am also so grateful for missionaries!

Third, I am grateful for FOOD, and SHELTER.  Bruce and I have been so blessed in our life together.  We have been able live comfortably and we always have food on the table, and a roof over our heads.. I am also so grateful that Bruce is so prepared, and into being prepared.

Fourth, I am grateful for our EXTENDED FAMILIES.  We have the best families, and I am so grateful for each and every one of them.

There are so many things I am grateful for... I could seriously go on an on.

9 Month Pictures

We got Bristyn's 9 month pictures a few weeks ago, and I LOVE how they turned out!!!  There are seriously SOOOOO many good ones I can't pick just a few... So welcome to picture overload!!!  I swear I have the best photographer in the world... She caught Bristyn's personality so much in these pictures!

Dakota's Party!

My sweet nephew Dakota turned 8 today, so of course we had a party!  Last night he invited all his friends over to my parents house, and we had a blast.  He had a jumper, bubbles and a pinata!  Bristyn adores Dakota, and he is honestly the best cousin in the world..  We love you Kode-Man! Happy Birthday!!!

9 Month Check-up!

My sweet girl had a doctor's appointment today!   She did amazing and we love her so much!!!  I am so sad I forgot to take her picture at the doctor, but this was right after!!

9 Month Stats:

Weight:  18 lbs. 15 oz. - 50%

Height:  28 3/4 in. - 80%

Head:  17 1/4 - 40%

pure love.

I love this sweet girl so much.  Every laugh, smile, tear, scream, hug and kiss... Everything this girl does melts my heart.  Being a mother is the most rewarding job in the world, and I am so so so thankful Heavenly Father has blessed me with such an amazing gift.  She is the BEST thing that ever happened to me, and I would give up anything and everything for her.  I love you baby girl!  Never forget that.

9 Months!

Our baby girl is 9 months old today!!!  She is such a little sweetheart and melts our hearts daily.  We were talking the other day and honestly have no idea what we did without her..  Life must have been so boring!  Its crazy to think she will be a year in 3 short months...

Our sweet girl woke up with a pretty bad runny nose this morning so we have been laying low all day.  I babysat Kylie for a couple hours this morning and Bris had so much fun playing with her cousin, and Kylie is such a big help!  She likes practicing since she is getting a baby sister in March!

New stuff about Bristyn at 9 months...

-Almost walking.  She took a step last Sunday!

-Eats all day long.. 

-Wears size 3 diapers

-Just switched to 12 month clothes

-Copies you when you cover your mouth and make a noise, she loves it!!

-has the biggest smile in the world, it melts our hearts!

-Falls asleep in her car seat almost instantly. 

-Still has terrible sleeping habits..  Its exhausting!

-Sleeps in her own room, most of the time.

-LOVES wrestling... especially with daddy.

-has to fall asleep by playing with my hair on her face.

-is OBSESSED with hair!

-She is a total mommy's girl, but loves her daddy to death!  They are adorable together.  

-Love playing with all her cousins and following them around.

-Loves playing peek-a-boo, or when you say boo and scare her.

-Likes to throw little tantrums, its fun :)

Thank you baby girl for the best 9 months of Mommy and Daddy's life!  We love you more than words can say.  You bring so much joy to everyone that meets you!
