It's been awhile.

We finally have Internet! Bruce and I thought we were gonna pull off the whole no Internet and cable thing, but we finally gave in. We didn't want to spend the ridiculous price for both of them. We were doing really good for a few days, but you can only play scrabble and watch movies for so long. We actually got pretty good at scrabble! While I was at work today Bruce called me and said, "Sweety I gave in and got Internet and cable!" (I was secretly so excited!)

I also started work today. It was good to be back, but I haven't worked or done too much for 3 months, so I am very exhausted! It's really good to be back though.

I finally got to meet Kylie! After hearing how cute she is for the past month and a half I had to see for myself! She is such a good baby, and so cute! She grows on you the more you are around her. I love holding her and cuddling with her!

Dakota, Gunnar, Kylie & Katrina came over to "play at Chaney's house" the other day and it was a lot of fun! I went over to my mom's that morning to do Katrina's hair, and the whole time Dakota and Gunnar kept coming up to me saying Chaney can we go to your house yet. I finally finished coloring Katrina's hair and we were off to my house! Dakota started playing Mario Cart for Wii and became obsessed! (Can you believe a 4 year old can play nintendo!!! He is so smart, he knows how to hook up the game and everything it was amazing) He did so good and got first place a lot of the time. Gunnar was being a little monster and getting into everything, he is so cute! And Kylie slept most of the time, its so good to finally meet my little niece!

The biggest changes with the kids since I have been gone.

-Dakota can read so good. He can scroll through TV guide and read everything there is on TV. Katrina even told me he was reading the Relief Society message the other day.

-Gunnar is so big, he isn't a toddler anymore...he's a little boy! He can actually talk, and it is sooo funny to listen to him!

I FINALLY got a kitchen table!!! (please don't look at the rest of our dining room, I haven't decorated it yet.) I always joke with Bruce because 2 years ago he gave me a kitchen table for my birthday. There was a really pretty picture in my card saying it was on the way, and strangely it never showed up! haha...He finally followed through and got me my kitchen table...2 years later! I figure better late then never right! haha I love it though.

I haven't totally finished decorating, so picture of our house will be up as soon as I'm done! We love living in this little house, and are so grateful Bruce's grandpa is allowing us to stay here! I'll post pictures soon.

We Are Home!

We finally made it home!!! We got here on Sunday at around 2pm. It was such a long drive! We drove for 13 hours the first day and 7 hours the second day! It is so good to be home though!

Vacuuming is probably one of my least favorite things to do. Bruce loves it. But since we have been out here we have not had a vacuum for 3 months! We didn't want to bring our big vacuum out so we decided we were going to buy a small one when we got here. Bruce decided they were too much money and decided to buy a broom instead! So for the past 3 months Bruce would sweep our floors, carpet and everything (I know, SOOOO embarrassing!) He would sweep the floors and it would look good for about 10 minutes and then it would look dirty again. I have been going crazy to say the least! Well we borrowed a vacuum last night and I have never been so excited to vacuum the floor, right when I got home I did, and it looks amazing!!! I now am SO grateful for vacuums! I think this picture is so funny!

Happy Birthday Rocky!

Today is Rocky's Birthday! I have always been really close with Rocky, when we were growing up I would always run to him to protect me when my other brothers were trying to beat me up. When Rocky got married I had a really hard time letting him go, even though he married an amazing girl. But as the years progress I am so grateful for him and his wife. Our family wouldn't be the same without them. Here are a few reasons why we love Rocky...*He has always been really protective of me...sometimes a little overly protective haha.
*You are guaranteed a good laugh when Rocky is around.
*He is an amazing husband to Stacey.
*His phone calls always cheer me up. Even if they are trying to get me to sign up for Zrii haha.
*He has a strong testimony.
*He can always cheer me up when I am feeling down.
*He is so easy to talk to and Bruce and I always have a lot of fun when we hang out with him and Stacey.

Happy Birthday Brookie!

My sister-in-law Brookie had a birthday on the 6th! I feel so grateful to have married into such an awesome family, and Brookie always made me feel comfortable. We work together and it is so much fun! I am so grateful to have her as a friend! Here are some reasons why we love Brookie!*She can always make us laugh.

*She is very strong in the church, and always puts the Lord first.

*She is a hard worker.

*She is always there to help us with anything we need.

*She is so generous, and will do anything for anyone!

Finally!

Bruce and I are coming home in a week! We are either leaving next Saturday night, or early Sunday morning!!! I am sooooooooooo excited! We have had a really good summer, and have had so much fun being on our own, but we miss home so much!

Tonight our ward threw Christanie a baby shower. We didn't know what to expect and were kinda nervous to go because we don't really know anyone in the ward and they were throwing her a shower, but it turned out really good. Our ward is so generous and nice. They hardly know us, and they gave Christanie some awesome gifts. It really gave me a strong testimony of the sisterhood of the church. We are truly blessed to be apart of something so incredible. In the picture it is Christanie Holt, me, and Ashley Wise.
