fun week!!

Bruce has been back for a week now and we have had so much fun!!  After a long summer of hardly seeing him, it has been so nice having him all to ourselves all week.  We have had lots of playing outside, babysitting cousins, family time, and just plain fun!  Bristyn is so obsessed with her daddy its not even funny.. he is sure giving me a run for my money.. now I'm not sure who her favorite is :)  We are just so grateful to have him back.

Daddy's home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bruce is home!!!!!!!!!!!  Can I just say I don't know who was more excited between the three of us. Bristyn and I went to the airport to pick him up, and as we were sitting at the checkpoint Bristyn was so excited.  When Bruce finally got into view I put Bristyn down and she just ran and jumped into her daddys arms. It was adorable.  She seriously would not let him out of her sign.  When we got down to baggage claim she was so upset he had to put her down to get his bags, and kept yelling for him.. Then when we got in the car she would not take her eyes off him, and kept reaching for him.. It was adorable!  Daddy stopped and got Bris her first ice cream cone (that she ate on her own) and she was in absolute heaven.. it was so cute.  

Week 3

Well we just finished out 3rd and final week without Bruce!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am pretty sure I got the best news ever yesterday.. You see he isn't suppose to be home until next Saturday but he surprised me and changed his flight and is coming home today!! In fact I go pick him up in an hour :)  Bruce and I have been apart our fair share of time between his job and hunts.. but I think this has been the hardest time apart yet. I have just missed my husband so much.  I don't know if it is because I am pregnant, or because he has been so vocal about how much he misses me this time.. But I just need my hunny back.  He sent me a text message the other night that had me in tears.. It was so unlike him and it seriously just made my day.. and made me love and miss him even more.  

Other than that Bris and I have had a fun week... We have had lots of cousin and family time.. we went to my brothers softball game and she had so much fun running around outside all night.  She spent all day Saturday with poppa Rocky and had so much fun.  We are just so excited daddy will be home today! She has been walking around asking for him the last couple days and it just melts my heart.  Can you tell I am excited to see him :) haha I can hardly stand it..

19 Months..

We got Bristyn's 19 month pictures done a few weeks ago..  I seriously can't believe how old she is getting.. In just a couple week she will be 20 months.. Where has the time gone?  I love this little girl so much and I am so grateful to be her mommy.  She brings so much joy into my life and is my best little friend in the world.  

28 weeks!!!

Today i went in for my 3d ultrasound and can I just say it was AMAZING!!!  First off, it amazes me how much our little guy looks like Bristyn.. They have the same nose, and lips.. and possibly eyes.  He is just adorable..  Little guy is measuring a week and a half big... So at my next appointment (Tuesday) I have to talk to my Dr. and we are going to possibly have to do another ultrasound at 36 weeks to see if he is still getting huge..The ultrasound tech said she can't technically change my due date but he is measuring to be born December 4th.. I will take him anytime I can! I just can't wait :)

Maternity clothes?  Yes!  and sweats haha

Sleep: Pretty good.. Bristyn wears me out!

Wedding rings on or off? off, but I could have it on.. I just don't want to chance it.

Week 2

Well today marks two weeks without Bruce..  This week has defiantly been easier then last.. Bristyn is finally getting adjusted and will actually nap now.  She still wakes up way too early, but that's fine with me.. it just makes me want to go to bed early. haha.. I was joking with Bruce a couple nights ago that I have never gone to be so early in our married life.. Bruce and I usually go to bed somewhere between 11:30-1 every night.. and I have been going to bed at 9:30-10 since he has been gone.  We have gone swimming a couple times this week but it has been so cold, I only get half way in.. I made a fun memory board with Brookie, Bris got a new baby stroller that she is obsessed with, and we have done lots and lots of playing..  We miss Bruce like crazy, thank heavens for facetime and skype.  He comes home next Saturday and I can hardly wait!!!!!!!   about 11 days :)  I am really excited cause I have a 3d ultrasound this week.. I can't wait to see our baby boy :)  He has seriously grown so much in the last two weeks since Bruce has been gone. It's crazy..

week 1.

Well we have been in Arizona without Bruce for a week now..  Luckily I have Bristyn to keep me distracted, but I am having such a hard time without him.  Bristyn has been an absolute terror since we got here.. and I just miss my husband.  We have had a lot of fun... but we are counting down the days until Bruce gets back. For the first few days my parents were out of town so we stayed at Justin and Katrina's and Bristyn had a blast waking up with her cousins, taking baths, and playing.. We went over and played with Brookie, Rhett, and Ridge a few times... and hung out with Grammie and Grandpa Brooks!  My parents got home this last Friday from Oregon so Bris and I moved into my parents house and we have been enjoying our time here.  It's so nice to have some help.  Bristyn has been having a hard time with naps since we got here, and she has actually fallen asleep on me a few times since we have been home.. That hasn't happened for over a year so I had to take a picture.. It was pure heaven!!  I had a Dr's appointment yesterday and it feels so good to be back with my Dr here that I know and trust.  He is awesome!
