Easter

Easter was so good this year!!  It started off for me the week before because I had to teach a lesson in Relief Society on the Atonement and Resurrection..  I am so grateful for that opportunity because it had me thinking about the true meaning of Easter all month.  My lesson went amazing, and the spirit was so strong so it was the perfect start of the Easter season.  On Friday we had a little egg hunt at my parents house and then went to the Easter pageant that night.  I haven't been for year and it was amazing.  The spirit you felt was unreal and I am so glad my kids were able to witness such a beautiful play.  When we got home Bruce decided to text a non member friend we have and tell him about it and he asked if we would want to go again with them Saturday.  We gladly agreed and it was fun to see their family.. This time Bruce and I went early in the day to lay down blankets and we were able to sit in the 3rd row.  Wow!! That made it even better.  Our kids (eventhough they just saw it) watched the entire thing without complaining and were so into it.  It was a really cool experience!  Then Sunday Bruce's parents were out of town at a family Reunion so we went over to my parents with just us and ate dinner and then went over to Bruce's parents house later that night.  It was a really good day :)  

I am so grateful for our Saviors atoning sacrifice and for all that he has done for us so that we can live with him again.  

fishing

Bruce took the kids fishing when Rhett and Ridge were with us and they caught a huge catfish so he has been itching to go back to the lake in our neighborhood.  After about an hour he caught this huge carp and the kids had a blast reeling it in.  Brody wanted nothing to do with it and refused to get by it for pictures.. but Bristyn and Bo loved it!  While they were waiting for Bruce to catch a fish they started playing with Bruces fishing worms and had a blast!  Cheapest toy ever.  They literally played with the worms the entire time and were so bummed we couldn't bring them home!  It was alot of fun! 

slumber party!

Brookie and Dalan ran over to California and so Rhett and Ridge stayed at our house for a night and the kids had so much fun!  They went fishing at the lake in our neighborhood, played in the backyard all day long and watched movies.. We are so grateful we have cousins the same age!

Bruce's birthday

For Bruce's birthday we went to the salt river with Justin and Chads families and we had so much fun!  Bruce tried fishing for awhile, but after no luck he decided to take the kids exploring.  It was so relaxing and fun and the kids had a blast playing in the water!

I am so grateful for Bruce and for the amazing husband and father he is. We have been so blessed to have him.  He is my best friend, he is always there for me and protects me constantly.  He is loyal, honest, funny, and a hard worker.  When I married him I knew he would be a good dad, but he has gone above and beyond to prove he is the best dad in the world.  He helps me more than I could ever imagine and the kids adore him.  He really is the best!

ostrich festival

This was our second year going to the ostrich festival and the kids had a blast!  Its alot like the fair, but cheaper and cleaner.  They have carnival rides and games and then alot of fun free shows.
