Tornado warning!

Well for the first time ever we had a real tornado warning.. Every summer there are tornados around us, but we have never had an actual warning in the town we are in.  I'm not going lie, I was freaking out.. and guess what Bruce was doing.. Yep, you guessed it.. the crazy guy was out on our balcony videoing it!  I was moving our kids (while sleeping) away from the windows.. begging him to run down in the basement of our building.. and he was laughing at me saying a tornado wouldn't hit. Thankfully we were safe, and it was just a really bad storm for a short time.  We didn't go to bed until around 1am, because I refused to go to bed until the tornado warning was long gone...

park fun

We were going to go to the zoo, but got a late start so we decided to walk to the park instead.. It was a lot of fun and the kids were totally worn out from it.  We have such a fun group of kids and Bristyn is in heaven anytime we play with them! She seriously loves it.  Bo is still at the stage where he kinda does his own thing, but he has fun following Bristyn around.  My kids are obsessed with the park and ask to go daily!

Lake fun!

We decided to go to the lake and it turned out to be a blast! The kids were in heaven.  They played in the sand, and had so much fun in the water.. and Brody just hung out in the stroller.  He slept half the time and was smiling and talking the other half.  sooo much fun!

tummy time

Brody is getting so good at tummy time and holds his head up so good!  Bo loves joining him and talking to him while he is doing tummy time.  haha!  And Bristyn got a new haircut!  We cut 4 inches off, and its finally all one length now and looks so cute!  

lazy day

Today we had a fun lazy day...  The kids decided to have nap time in mom and dads bed.. Nap time turned into wrestle time and then play time.. and then closet time. haha!  These kids keep me on my toes and laughing at their cuteness all day long.  Bo cracks me up.. he isn't a binkie boy, EXCEPT when its bed time.. the minute Bristyn and I said nap time he started screaming for his binkie and blankie (the kid refuses to sleep without either and his blanket has to touch his face) then he decided he wanted my big blanket for his blankie and would freak out anytime anyone would touch it.  He's a funny boy.  

outlet mall

Bruce got home early because it was raining.. I mean pouring, like scary pouring.. and he needed shoes so we decided to drive to the outlet mall in Michigan City.  It was so much fun! The kids had a blast, and it just amazes me how much funner things are when Bruce is with us.  We got a good deal on shoes, the kids played in the boxes while daddy looked, and then they made friends with the old navy dog.  Haha the second Bo saw it he immediately ran to it and hopped on its back.. He is such a boy!
