saying goodbye!

We hate goodbyes!!! But after being away from daddy for a month, its time to go back to him!!  Bristyn of course had to dress up while we were over at Bruce's parents house saying goodbye..  She is the cutest :)

Bristyn and Kylie went with Grammy to pick apricots and had so much fun!!  Bristyn follows Kylie around all day and just loves her so much, its so cute!  Kendall is getting old enough to play too and it is so much fun!!

We had a super eventful day today!! I had to run to phoenix with my parents, so I asked Brookie to watch Bristyn and she had a blast with Rhett.  When we were done with that (like 4 hours later) we headed home to my parents house where Dakota, Gunnar, Kylie and Kendall were waiting for us.  Justin and Katrina went out of town, so my parents are watching the kids for a few days.. I can only imagine the fun Bristyn is going to have :)  When we got home we headed straight to the pool!  Chad, Jess and McKinley joined us too!  

sleeping babies

There is nothing better then a sleeping baby, or a baby when they first wake up.  I could watch my kids sleep all day, it is just so peaceful.. and when they fall asleep on me, I am in heaven!!  When Bristyn wakes up all she wants is mommy or daddy.. she is grumpy to anyone else, and it takes her a good 30-45 minutes to warm up to anyone else..  She is super clingy, and just wants to be held and sit in your lap.  When Bo wakes up he is the happiest little thing in the world.  He is just so sweet!!  I feel so blessed to be the mother to two beautiful children.. I just love them so much!!!

comparisons

Everyone either says that Bristyn looks like me, or Bruce's sister Brecken..  So I found pictures to compare.  She looks alot like Brecken.. they look like they could be sisters, but has my nose, mouth and face structure!  I also found a picture of Bristyn and Bo, both at 6 months.. and it amazes me how much the look alike.  They could be twins!  Bo defiantly looks like a boy, and Bristyn defiantly looks like a girl.. But they look so much alike!

Benson's Homecoming

We went to Benson's homecoming talk today, and he seriously did amazing!  I love when missionaries come home and you can see the change the mission has given them.  It amazes me every time!  Bristyn was a terror all through sacrament and I was in the hall most of the time, and Bo was the perfect angel he always is.. haha.  

It is so fun to see Bo start to interact, he is only 6 months younger then Ridge so I know they will be so close!!

sitting up?!???!!!

Bo is already sitting up.. ugh, he is growing up WAY too fast!!  you have to get him in the sitting position, and then he will sit there for awhile and loves it!  Its so cute, and makes him look so big.  Please excuse the picture of me, I look super tired.. haha..  I have been completely sleep deprived since we have been in Arizona.  My kids think its a good idea to get up at 5:30-6 every morning!  Thank heavens they are totally worth it!!  :)

Bike ride and park

My dad had a good idea to go to the park with the kiddos.. He hooked his bike up to the bike trailer and headed to the park!  The kids loved it, and we had a fun morning.. 

Bristyn is sick :(

Poor Bristyn has had a runny nose for awhile, last night she ran a low fever all night.. she NEVER gets fevers so I knew something was wrong.  I took her into Dr. Guthrie (she loves him!!) and sure enough she had a double ear infection!  He said it was a really sever double ear infection and he was shocked she wasnt running around screaming all day long.  Poor girl.  She must have a super high pain tolerance.
