New Years Eve

This year for new years we put the kids to bed, and played games with some of my cousins.  It was alot of fun, and really relaxed.  We had some yummy food, lots of laughs, and games.  2014 has been a pretty good year for us.  We have definatly had our hard moments, but all in all it was a pretty good year.  I am really excited to see what 2015 will bring us!

January- Bruce spent the whole month away for work.. It was rough!
February- Bristyn turned 3, and Bruce finally came home :)
March-  We moved out of our house by the Temple and into my parents.  Celebrated 7 years of marriage.  Bruce turned 31.
April-  Brody Rockford Brooks joined our family.
May-  When Brody was 3 weeks old we drove all the way to Indiana.
June- We made new friends and lots of fun memories.
July-  Moved to Michigan, Bruce took the whole day off for the first time in years on 4th of July!
August-  Michigan state fair, parks, and family memories
September- The kids and I flew home, went 3 weeks without Bruce and he flew home to visit for a few days.  Bought a new (older) truck
October-  I turned 27.  Bruce finally came home after the longest 2 months ever!  Fun halloween
November-  Trip to Idaho.. Rocky and Stacey came for 2 weeks!  Bruce had a sales trip.  Thanksgiving!!
December- Bruce and I went to Idaho alone.. with Brody!  Christmas!

-Every night without a doubt the kids and Bruce have to have a big wrestling session.  I love watching them play with their daddy.. He truly is one of the best!  

-Brody is obsessed with his puffs and cheerios, and anything to do with food haha!  

-For christmas the kids got giant bubbles and we had to try them out.. It was a blast!! 

-Bristyn is obsessed with the ipad.. good thing she hardly gets to play on it!

-The kids would play outside all day everyday if they could..

-Brody LOVES bathtime.

Bristyns last day of nursery

How is it possible that my baby girl is growing so fast.  Today was her last day of nursery and although I am so excited for her to start primary, a part of me is sad she is so big.  I am so grateful for her and the joy she brings into our family!!!  

Christmas with the Riggs

My parents did Christmas this year at 2.. and it was amazing!!!!  We got to actually enjoy spending time over there and nothing was rushed.  I seriously loved it!  My kids had a blast playing with all their cute cousins.  Every year my mom does an amazing job at making sure the grandkids know the true meaning of Christmas.. And then the fun begins!!  It was pure craziness opening Christmas with all the grand kids this year, but it was alot of fun!  They all got amazing stuff, and totally loved their gifts!  After presents we ate yummy ham with scalloped potatoes, and of course pie.  It was alot of fun!
