38 Weeks

How far along? 38 weeks 

Total weight gain: ????

Maternity clothes?  Yes!  and sweats haha  The problem is now that my belly has dropped, all my shirts are too short!

Stretch marks? ugh, yes!  Just new ones on my belly.

Sleep: Horrible!!  I am up most nights.

Best moment this week:  Only one more week until I get induced :)  and enjoying one more week with just Bristyn!

Miss Anything?  Being able to lay on my stomach,  not having aches and pains, sleeping through the night.. 

Movement:  Yes! He moves a ton.. 

Food cravings: Smoothies

Labor Signs:  Ugh, no.  Still not dilated.  I still get lots of contractions but nothing serious.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy for the most part... Unless I'm in a lot of pain haha

Looking forward to: I finally get to meet him soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really can't wait.  

Only 1 more week and we get to meet our little guy :)  I am so excited it's not even funny.  I have a Dr's appointment on Tuesday and he said we would talk about everything then.  I am just dying to see what Bo is going to look like.. I can't wait to snuggle him, and love him.  I love the newborn stage so I am so excited.  Now I just have lots to do this next week... like finish Christmas shopping, make sure my house is constantly clean in case I go into labor, you know.. the usual nesting stuff.  Hopefully this week goes by quickly :)

Bruce and I have been super into playing games lately, and Bristyn LOVES watching us.. She is usually in one of our laps the whole time, but she gets her snacks, and drinks and comes to watch.. She is so good about not touching the pieces and just loves sitting there with us.  I just love our little angel so much!!

Riggs cousins

Bristyn LOVES her cousins..  Each and every one of them..  Anytime we head to my parents house she asks if Dakota, Gunnar, Kylie & Kendall will be there and she is constantly asking to see pictures of Rocky... She seriously misses and loves that sweet boy like crazy.  I am just so happy my kids have so many awesome cousins, and there are more to come!  Most of my childhood memories involve my cousins so I am so glad she will have the same memories :)

Thanksgiving

As always we had such a wonderful Thanksgiving this year..  I am pretty sure it is my favorite holiday.  You get yummy food, and lots of family time without the stress of Christmas.  We started the day off by heading to Bruce's parents house around 9:30 and stayed til about 12:30.. Then we headed to my parents house and stayed until about 4:30..  It was such a fun day filled with lots of family time, and  the best food ever!

I have so much to be grateful for.  First and foremost I am so grateful for my little family.  Bruce and Bristyn complete me.  I would be lost without them, and thank my Heavenly Father daily for both of them.  I don't know what I did to get such an amazing husband, and a special little daughter but I am so grateful... And to think in just about 2 weeks we will be adding a sweet baby boy.  My heart is so full of love for these 3.  I know Bo isn't here yet, but I love him so much already.  I cannot wait to hold him and love him.  Bristyn is my little best friend... She is my shadow, and without her my days would be sad.  She is the most beautiful, sweet, hilarious little thing I have ever seen and honestly I do not know how I got so lucky.  and then there is Bruce.  My love for my sweet husband is so deep and eternal, and I am just so grateful for him.  He is my rock.  Without him I would be absolutely lost.

I am also grateful for our extended families, the gospel, and all that our Heavenly Father has blessed us with.  Bruce and I often say how lucky we are.  and it is true.. we have been blessed beyond words.

On Saturday I was bugging my crazy hubby to do something fun as a family.. next thing I know we were packing our car up to go fishing.. haha I should have known.  Besides it being super windy and cold, and the miserable car ride for a 8 month pregnant lady we had a lot of fun!!  Bristyn had an absolute blast!!!!!!  She was obsessed with the snow, and her sweet daddy bought her a Barbie fishing pole that she would not put down.  We fished for a couple hours, then went on a little walk and headed home.  It was so cute to watch Bruce try to catch a fish with Bristyn's Barbie fishing pole so she could have a fish!!  Too bad a rude guy saw the fish jumping around us and came literally 10 feet from us and caught a fish before we could.  It was still so much fun, and I am so grateful Bruce took us :)  I love my little family so much and am so grateful I have been blessed with such an amazing husband, and the cutest, sweetest daughter ever!!!

36 Weeks

Wow, I cannot believe I am already 36 weeks pregnant!  I took these pictures just to see the difference in my pregnancy from Bristyn to Bo.  Obviously with Bristyn I am bigger and 100 times more swollen. Thankfully I have not gotten swollen with this pregnancy.. just the normal.  I know its hard to tell in this picture, but my belly is also way bigger with Bristyn.  

It's so hard to believe that in 3 shorts weeks I will hold our little boy in my arms, I am so excited!!  I have mixed emotions.. I pray he is an easier newborn than Bristyn was.. I don't know if I can handle another baby that has to eat from 11pm-5am on the hour..  I also hope Bristyn does okay with him, and understands that she is still my little girl and that I love her just as much as I did before her baby brother got here.  Other than that, I am so ready for him to get here!!!!!  I am dying to see what he looks like.. from his 3d ultrasound he looks like a pretty good mix between Bristyn and Bruce, so we will see!

Yet again Bruce would kill me if he knew I put these pictures on my blog, but he had me laughing so hard!!  His sister Brecken needed to borrow a formal dress for a mutual activity, so I had to take pictures of the dresses to send to her..  naturally Bruce was my model :)

Since Bruce went on a week long hunt in Colorado, Bristyn and I stayed at my parents with my mom (my dad was hunting too) and we had a blast!  We got all the final things I needed for Bo, and went to some fun boutiques!  Bristyn was sick the whole time, but that didn't stop us from having a bunch of fun all week!  Thank you mom for being there so we could have a blast with you!!!  We watched Barbie WAY too many times, played in the sprinkler, went to yummy dinner, went to see the horse a million times, went for some rides in the golf cart, chased the dogs.. and much more..  It was seriously a fun week!  Being 8 months pregnant watching a crazy (and I mean crazy) toddler was seriously so hard, but I am so grateful my mom was there to help me.. and she helped alot and I am sooo grateful!  My sweet hubby ended his hunt a few days early and came home because he knew I was having a hard time..  It was wonderful to have him back! I am just grateful there are no more hunts until next year :)  Thank you Bo for coming when you are, that means only 1 hunt this year instead of 3-4 haha!

Dr. visit

Daddy headed out of town on his Colorado hunt so Bristyn and I headed to my parents to stay the week.. She came down with a cold before Bruce left and a few days after he left she started grabbing her ear saying owie.  I figured she had an ear infection so off to the Dr. we went, and sure enough she did!  She seriously loves Dr. Guthrie and he is so cute with her, we were given some amoxicillion and off we went.  She is seriously such a trooper, and has such a high pain tolerance.. you would have had no clue she was in pain!  I am just so grateful for her sweet personality.  She keeps us laughing daily and is the sweetest thing around.  I am also grateful for an amazing Dr. that cares so much about her!

Halloween!!!!!!!

This Halloween was so much fun!  Our sweet little Bristyn got so into trick or treating and it made me excited for next year!!  We decided last minute to have her be a witch.  I was going to make her an adorable Barbie costume I found, and it did not turn out at all... so a witch it was, and I am pretty sure she was the cutest witch around!  She wasn't so sure of her costume at first, but once she got use to it she was fine.  We started the night off by hanging out at Grammy Racheel and Grandpa Bruce's until about 6, and then we headed over to Katrina's mom's house to trick or treat with all her cousins.  She seriously had a blast trick or treating.. She would not put her candy bucket down and kept freaking out if we tried holding it for her.  It was too cute.  I am just so grateful for my sweet girl, and for the absolute joy she brings into our lives.
