DISNEYLAND!!!

The day we have all been waiting for finally arrived and we got to go to Disneyland!!  Our kids had never been so we were super excited to go!  The day before Bristyn caught a little bug and was on the toilet almost all night.. We were so bummed and didn't know if we would be able to go.. Thankfully she woke up feeling a little better so we headed over to the park.  Since we haven't been to Disneyland for years we had no idea what to do or where to go so we walked around for about an hour trying to figure everything out and then we went on a few rides and waited to meet some princesses... After that we met up with Bruce's family and had a blast going on rides and eating yummy food.  It was fun because Bristyn was tall enough to go on most of the rides..  Bo was able to go on a few, and Brody was able to go on very little but we still had alot of fun.  Since we were there on Saturday it was out of control busy but it was a blast.  We got there right when they opened so we were pretty exhausted going from 7am and by 7pm we were pretty wiped out.  We were bummed to miss the evening parade but we just couldn't go for another 2 hours.  We went across the street to Ihop for dinner and then home to our hotel.. The kids crashed almost right when we laid them down.  It was so much fun and we can't wait to go back!! Next time we want to go for a few days so we don't have to jam it all into one day.. but we are so grateful for the chance we had to go!

California

For Christmas Bruce's parents got us a one day pass to Disneyland.. We have been patiently waiting for our California trip and it finally came.  Everyone was going to be there Friday-Sunday but we decided to leave a day early so we wouldn't have to wake up super early on Friday.  Once everyone got there on Friday we met at the San Clemente beach and had so much fun playing in the water.  My kids live for the beach so they were totally in their element.  As we were playing on the beach there were whales, dolphins, and seals everywhere.. super close to the beach!  It was so fun watching them.  After playing for awhile a lifeguard came up and warned us that we were playing in a super dangerous area because not too far out the ocean floor drops and if a wave caught one of the kids the chances of finding them because of that drop are slim.. after hearing that we quickly packed up and left haha..  We went to Disneyland saturday and then Sunday we went to another beach and played for awhile with Benson and Brooklyn before heading home.  It was so much fun!
