time for the mall!

We went to the mall with the Holt's today and Bristyn was soooo good!  We were there for a good 3-4 hours and she only cried once when she wanted a bottle, and we took a little break so I could feed her!  Honestly I feel so lucky, I have such a good baby.  She amazes me.  And I'm pretty sure everyone that saw her at the mall had to stop and look at her, then tell me how gorgeous she is!   She loves sitting in her stroller, she feels like such a big girl :)  

tummy time

Bristyn use to hate tummy time!  She would be okay for the first few minutes, and then she would scream until you rolled her back over.  Well on Monday (the 30th) She started rolling over.  She rolled over twice at 6 weeks and never did after that.. But she finally figured it out and anytime you put her on her back she rolls to her belly (only on her left side)  So she has gotten use to being on her tummy, and she has gotten so good at lifting her head up!  She is even starting to hold her toys which is so exciting!  I am loving this new stage she is at... although I miss my tiny newborn, watching her grow and develop is so much fun!  I just can't believe she will be 4 months next week!

a little walk.

To pass the time we went on an hour and a half walk with the Holt's yesterday.  To say the least Bristyn was pooped by the end of our walk!  The weather has been so nice here lately, in the 80's with a really nice breeze, so we try to take advantage of it and go outdoors alot!  Bristyn loves being outside, and she loves being in her carrier so she can see everything!   I am just grateful we have friends out here, so I don't go crazy with boredom! 

Busy Day!

To pass the time Bristyn and I met Christanie, Brady & Kyson at Target!  I decided to see if she would want to sit in the cart like a big girl and she loved it!  She hates her carseat!!!  We walked around for awhile and then she started getting tired and cranky!  We came home and played for awhile then she tried waiting up for daddy, but it was too hard and she fell asleep! (please excuse the bright red couch... the company furnishes our apartments for us)  I am so glad to have a little side-kick this summer :)

This little cutie pants keeps me busy all day long!  She is so much fun, and I absolutely adore her.  We were playing around today and i discovered I can put her hair in a little pony.. haha Isn't it so cute???  I just love this little girl to pieces, and I am so glad I get to have her as mine :)  It was so cute, I had to finish organizing the apartment, so I put her in her boucer today and turned a Baby Einstein on and she loved it, she was laughing and talking to the tv the entire 30 minutes!  She was so sad when I turned it off, I'll have to let her watch it tomorrow :)  She also loves sitting in her bumbo on the kitchen counter to watch me make dinner... Of course dinner takes twice the time it did before cause I can't help but stop and talk to her every  5 seconds.  I just love her new and developing personality more every single day.  She is so much fun! 

Our New Home --- Michigan

Well we made it to Michigan and finally got settled!  We live in a town called Novi.  It is so nice to be out on our own again {we have been living with my parents for 9 months} and to get into our own little routine.  Luckily there is a fun group of wives out here this summer and Bris makes the time fly by!  Bruce is doing AMAZING with his sales, I am seriously so proud of him!  The weather is different too!  I never though I would be wearing a sweater in the end of May.  One day it will be freezing outside and the next day it will be hot out... it's so unpredictable!  

Poppa's Girl!

Bristyn loves her Poppa, and its safe to say my dad adores her.  She loves to talk to him and tell him all about her day!  Its adorable...  I know she will miss him while we are in Michigan. 

Time with Grandpa

As a family we get out and play volleyball in my in laws backyard as often as possible!  My father in law was taking a break and he got to "babysit" while the rest of us played!  Rhett would make the cutest face every time he saw the light of my camera go.. it was hilarious!  And Bristyn was just mesmerized with Rhett the whole time.  She loves getting his kisses and talks to him all the time!  

Bristyn's first Airplane ride!

Yesterday Bristyn rode on an airplane for the very first time!  She did so good, and played for the first hour... then slept the last 2 1/2 hours!  Luckily we had daddy with us, so she could sleep in between our legs!  I just love my little girl so much :)

Benson leaves...

Wednesday morning was a bitter sweet moment for all of us.  We were all so sad to say goodbye to Benson for two years, but so proud of him for making such an important decision!  Last summer Benson came out to Colorado with Bruce and I and we had a chance to really get close with him because he was over at our house everyday.  We will really miss him while he is gone, but we can't wait to hear all the amazing experiences he has in California.  We love you so much Benson, and miss you tons already!

Bristyn got to try Rhett's bouncer out at Grammy and Grandpa's the other day and she loved it!  She was trying so hard to jump in it, it was so cute!  Now we need to get one for her :)
