Fun Weekend!

Yesterday Bruce got off work at 3:00 because all the guys met their goals, so we were able to have a little fun!  We did some grocery shopping, and then went for a drive.  Colorado is so pretty right now because it is spring, and so green.  I seriously love it here!  I am anxious to see how the winter is here though.

Last night Bruce and I went on a fun date night with Shantay and Abe Sellards.  Shantay was one of my best friends from beauty school so I was super excited when I heard they were coming out here for the summer, and they have the cutest little girl named Bristol.  We went to Texas Roadhouse, and then came back to our place and played games and talked til 2 in the morning...  Time sure flies when your having fun!

We woke up bright and early to go to church, and once we got there we realized it was stake conference because there were no cars in the parking lot, so we decided to drive over to the Temple.  It was pretty, but super small!  It has been such a fun weekend :)

Isn't my husband so hot! :)

Mother's Day

I just want to take a minute and let the world know that I have the two most amazing mother's in the world!  I am so grateful for both of them, and for all the do for Bruce and I.  I hope I can be half the Mom that they are!

My mom has been there for me through the thick and thin.  She has done so much for me in my life, and I will constantly live my life trying to make it up to her.  I would be lost without her, and she truly is my best friend, and biggest support system.  Words cannot describe the love I have for this amazing lady!

My mother in law is amazing!  She has become one of my very best friends, and I hold her so dear to my heart.  I have so much in common with her, and I look forward to hanging out with her... We always have so much fun.  She has been there for Bruce and I anytime we have needed her, and we love her so much!

Women's Conference!

I was lucky enough to be able to go to Women's Conference 2 weeks ago!  I had so much fun with my mom, and sister-in-laws, and we made memories we will cherish forever!  We arrived in Salt Lake on Wednesday and we were able to spend some time at Temple Square.  We ate the the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, and then we all went to the Temple and did a session!  The live session was amazing, and I can't wait to go back with Bruce.  It was my first time being in Utah (if you don't count when Bruce and I drove through) so I was enjoying every minute of it!  After we played around in Salt Lake for a few hours, we drove to Provo and got situated with our dorms!  It was so much fun, and I am so grateful I was able to go!  Stacey was my room mate, and we had lots of late night chats, junk food, and fun adventures!

I was kinda nervous to go to Women's Conference.  I didn't know how it would be, or if I would like it.. and I can honestly say I am totally looking forward to going again next year.  There were tons of classes to choose from every hour, and it was so nice to be spiritually fed for a few days.  There was one class that completely hit home for me, and it helped me sooo much and it was just what I needed.  Bruce and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost 2 years now, and my sister-in-law and brother have also been trying for 11 years..  It is something that Stacey and I  have in common, and because of it we have become super close.  As we were on the airplane heading to Salt Lake we were reading over all the classes and there was one titled "Unanswered Prayers" and as soon as we read the description we both looked at each other and said this is a must!  As we got to the class, little did we know the lady speaking had also struggled with infertility and so she related her whole talk on infertility and the struggles of it.  I shed so many tears as the lady was talking, and she gave me some many new insights on it... and over all her talk helped me so much!  It made me realize a lot of things...  The main thing I realized is yes, I want a baby more than anything in this world.. It literally consumes my mind every day, but i need to look at all the amazing things I have in my life and be grateful.  The day will come that I will be able to be a mother, and until then I just need to enjoy every minute of my life and be so grateful for what I already have.  I am so grateful I went to Women's Conference, and for the sweet spirit I felt the entire time I was there!

Simple Moments

I just want to say that last night was amazing...  Nothing incredible happened, but I got to cuddle with my husband on the couch and watch a movie for 2 whole hours.  With no interruptions. Just US.  It was exactly what I needed, and I am so grateful for him!  With his job he is always on the phone, always talking to someone, always on the computer... always go go go.  And last night was the first time in awhile that I got him just to myself and it felt amazing.  Simple moments like that make me so grateful that I am married, grateful that I have such an amazing husband, and grateful to have him forever!  I love my life :)

Colorado Rockies Game!

Last night we went to the Colorado Rockies game with the whole office!  It was really cold, but a lot of fun!  We had awesome seats..  We were in the 12th row, and all the fowl balls came our way!  After the game we all went out to Texas Roadhouse, and we enjoyed an amazing dinner!  It turned out to be an awesome night, and it was nice to be able to go out and see downtown Denver.

I love my husband :)

p.s. Don't worry, there is no more snow... after about 3 hours of snowing and getting a bunch on the ground, it started raining and the snow melted as fast as it came!  Now we are back to amazing weather haha.

It's snowing & update

Last week it was hot here{well I guess it wasn't hot in Arizona terms.}  But, hot enough for Bruce to wear shorts and a short sleeve t-shirt to work everyday.  Yesterday it started raining ALL day!  The weather was crazy... We had tornado warnings all day {who knew there was tornado's in Denver} Bruce and I woke up this morning and it was pouring rain..  I even think it hailed a little bit in the really early morning.  Well we had to run to wal-mart real quick, and when we walked out it was SNOWING!  Who would have guessed that after the amazing weather last week, it would be snowing today!  My pour husband still has to knock in this crazy weather!

We LOVE Colorado!  We are in a town called Littleton {about 15 minutes from Denver} and it is awesome here!  It was funny because when we were in Coeur d'Alene {which we still miss sooooo much, and we wish we could move there} and we were talking about places we were going to go for the summer, Bruce kept bringing up Chicago.  I would have gone with him {obviously} but I really did not feel good about Chicago, I had no desire to go there... But when he brought up Denver, it just felt right!  I am so glad we picked Denver to spend our summer!  The area we are in has everything you could imagine, Hobby Lobby, Costco, Sam's Club, and Wal-Mart are within walking distance from our apartment, and there is everything else within 3 miles of us!  It's awesome!

Since we have been here the guys have been selling so good!  It is amazing the difference in how many sells we get here compared to how many sales we got in Spokane & Coeur d'Alene.  The only bad part about being here is they have to knock 2 hours away from where we live.  So my hubby doesn't get home until 9:30 or 10:00 every night!  They are knocking so far away because the rebates are way better over where they are knocking compared to the rebates in Denver.  But Colorado just started a new program where all the towns have the same {really good} rebates, but you have to get on some list to be able to get those rebates, so we are waiting to hear from the state of Colorado, and hopefully they will be able to start knocking closer to home in the next week or so {if Colorado allows our company to be in the program} So pray that we will get in the program :)  Other than that we have been running around like crazy people trying to get the office in order...

Next Tuesday I am flying back to Arizona {I was just there I know} But on Wednesday morning I am flying up to Utah to go to Women's Conference with my mom, and 2 sister-in-laws!!  I seriously cannot wait.  It will be so much fun to get spiritually fed, and to be able to share such a awesome experience with my mom and sisters!  After women's conference I am going to hang out in AZ for a week, and then I am back with my husband for good and I am so excited about that!

I am so grateful for Bruce, and for all the hard work he puts in.  The poor guy is exhausted by the end of the day.  Between knocking doors, taking care of his guys, talking on the phone about work, and running errands all day... he is busy from the moment he wakes up until the time he goes to bed!  In between all that he makes sure he gives me the attention I need, so he hardly has a minute for himself and I feel so bad... But he loves his job, and he wouldn't have it any other way!

So exciting!

I just want to tell the world how excited I am to have a new little NEPHEW in September :)  Brookie and Dalan found out what they are having today, and I am sooo happy for them.  It has been a long road, and nobody deserves this more than they do.  They will be amazing parents... and I can't wait to meet their cute little guy :)

Girls Night

The Friday before I flew out to Denver we had a much needed girls night at my Grandma Sue's with all my cousins!!  We had a fun night full of food and fun games, and I am pretty sure we got out of hand a few times, but it was SOOO much fun!  I seriously wish we could have a girls night ever month :)

Happy Easter!

Today has been such a wonderful Easter Sunday!  The only down part is I am away from Bruce, it was really weird not having him here.  Usually we do Easter baskets and have our own fun traditions... I guess we will have to make up for them next year!  But I have had so much fun with our families!

I woke up and had a yummy breakfast with Bruce's family then we watched the first session of Conference.  After Conference we got our easter baskets and had a fun easter egg hunt.. then the girls started baking in the kitchen!  I love my in-laws and I am so grateful to have them in my life :)

For the second session of Conference I came back to my parents house and we watched Conference, then after we got our Easter baskets and had another egg hunt..  It is always so much fun!!  This year Dakota and Gunnar were big enough to join in on the "adult" egg hunt so it turned out to be alot of fun!! Tonight we are having a delicious dinner and then fun games as a family... I am so grateful for my family :)

I absolutely loved that Conference was on Easter this year... I wish it was like that every year!  It was such a nice reminder of why we celebrate Easter.  I am so grateful for the Savior and for his atoning sacrifice so that I can enjoy the blessings of living with him again someday...

Happy Easter everyone!! I hope your day was great.

Arizona!

I have been so busy since I have been here and I have enjoyed every minute of it!  I have made a craft with my nephews, made cute houses with my mother in law & sister in law, shopped with my mom, threw my friend a baby shower, and all in less than a week!  I am so grateful I have been able to come out and hang out with family :)  I miss Bruce sooooo much, and I beg him every night to drive to Arizona before we go to Denver.. but we will see!

This is a craft I did with my nephews :) It was a lot of fun... We made "I spy" jars!  We found some things around the house and put them in the jars, then colored some rice and filled them up. There is a list of all the things in the jar, and they have to shake it up so they can find each thing.  It was fun, and they loved going outside and finding "their" rock, and going through all their toys and picking things they wanted to put in the jars.

New Skirt!

Yesterday I got really bored, so I decided to make a skirt.  I didn't really have an idea in mind, and I was nervous how it would turn out, but I LOVE it!  I did a simple a-line skirt, and then gathered the bottom under the lace.  It fits really good, and I am so excited to wear it to church on Sunday :)  This is the first skirt I have made without my sister-in-law sitting right next to me helping me out, so it was a big accomplishment!!

Happy Birthday Racheel!

I have the best mother-in-law in the world!   Happy Birthday, we love you so much!
