Okay so since we have been out here Bruce and I have noticed all the Dunkin' Donuts. They have them everywhere. Seriously. and we always make little jokes about how they have them on every corner.... Well last night we went for a Sunday drive and on our drive we noticed 3 Dunkin' Donuts in less than a quarter block. No joke. But that isn't even that bad. A while back, when we went into Boston we were on the Duck Tour and our tour guide told us that there are like 4 streets in Boston that between those streets there are NINTEY-THREE Dunkin' Donuts...Just on 4 streets that are like a few blocks long. Crazy huh! There was even a Dunkin' Donut place that is connected to a sushi place. haha. I guess the people out here just love their coffee. We wouldn't know, since we don't drink coffee. But, we are sad to say we haven't even gone to a Dunkin' Dounts while we have been out here. Maybe someday we will see what is so great about Dunkin' Donuts...

I got tagged again....
Well I got tagged by my cousin Jenny so I hope you all have fun learning a lot about me. Okay first I have to list 7 random facts about me; funny, silly, whatever. Then pick some new people to tag
1. I love my husband more than anything in this world and I love being married. I have never met such an amazing person. I feel so blessed to have him as a part of my life and I cannot wait to be with him forever. He knows me better than anyone and is the most respectful, loving, honest, amazing person I have ever met... I could have never asked for a better husband. He amazes me everyday. He has a way with people and can become best friends with anyone he meets. and did I mention he is hilarious! I have never been so happy, and I owe it all to him! I love him with all my heart.
2. I have a crazy weakness for hot baths. They relax me and help me to unwind. When i am happy, sad, or just plain tired a bath is always the thing that makes everything so much better! haha... It is so funny because Bruce feels the same way about playing on the computer, he could look up cars, hunting & dogs to buy for hours and it helps him unwind. Some nights I will lay there with him and look up stuff with him and then there are some nights where Bruce will come home and go straight to the computer and I will go strait to the bath...it's really funny!
3. I have a crazy love for reading. I guess you could say I am a bookworm...I live for LDS love novels. I just love to read about love stories...When I get a new book I almost hibernate until I finish the book. My mom has always laughed at me because when I lived at home I would get a new book and go straight to my room and I wouldn't come out until I was done with the book. Don't worry when Bruce gets home, I put my book away and give him my attention, but when he is gone I read my books. I have gotten to the point that I can finish a book in a day or a day and a half. I love it!
4. I have a abnormally short tongue. Bruce and my family have always made fun of me for it. Seriously, it is so short when i stick it out it just goes straight out, I can't even try to curl it up so I can touch my nose...it's really funny!
5. I LOVE Doris Day movies. When I was little I would always go over to my Grandma Sue's house and watch movie after movie with her. Those were some of my favorite childhood memories. We watched them so much that I am seriously obsessed! Any time I am in the store and see a Doris Day movie I have to buy it no matter the cost. They are like prized possessions to me! They just bring back all the good times I had with my sweet Grandma. And I was so excited to hear that my mother-in-law loves them too!
6. I love to scrapbook. I would rather go to a scrapbook store than a clothing store. It is a really costly & addicting habit but I love it!
7. When I get an idea in my head I have to do something about it right that second....If I don't I can't relax. Sometimes it drives Bruce crazy because I will get an idea and I have to go to the store right then to get whatever I need to do my idea. It could be a craft, a meal to make, or just anything!

Saturday Night.....Date Night!!!
Saturday Nights are always really good nights for Bruce and I. It is the only night of the whole entire week that Bruce gets off a little bit early and we get to spend a little more time together! Tonight we chose to go to Lotus Blossom with a few people in the group and the food was soooooo good! It is like a PF Changs, only better. Can you imagine it? After dinner we decided to go with the group to Applebee's so we could get their amazing Maple Butter Blondie! It was so dang good. Tonight was just such a good night because I got to spend some time with my amazing husband....and that is all that matters to me! I cherish every moment I get to spend with him.

Fireworks
Well on Saturday night Bruce found out that this little community was going to have a firework show. A bunch of people got together and bought a bunch of fireworks and decided to put a boat in the middle of the lake and set them off! Well Bruce and I were excited because we didn't get to see fireworks on the 4th so we went and arrived like an hour early. We were not able to be apart of the party but the guy told Bruce we could go on the other side of the lake and there was a parking lot we could park in and go sit on this hill... Well when we got there you could hardly see anything because there were so many trees. So we decided to get out and walk around. Well we had to go through this huge field and while we were in the middle of it Bruce said oh yeah we are going to need to check our legs and feet for ticks when we are done....I freaked out! haha. So we keep walking around and realized the best place we will be able to see the fireworks is from our car and it was a major bonus because it was away from the ticks & mosquito's. So we got back in our car and sat....and sat....and sat and there were no fireworks yet. So we got hungry and bored of waiting so we left! But while we were driving to dinner some people in the neighborhoods were shooting fireworks so we got a little show! Then we went to our favorite & only Mexican Food Restaurant in Marlborough.... Acua Polcos. It was delicious! It was a very good Saturday night for the Brooks Family!

4th of July!
So Bruce had all day off on the 4th of July and we have been waiting for it all summer long! It is his only day off so we wanted to do something fun. We ended up going into Boston with the whole group of Pointe Pest Control guys and took the Duck Boat Tours. We had to be there at 1:00 and the tour took us all around Boston....it went from land to water! So it was fun! While we were in the water there was an old classic car just driving in the water like it was suppose to be there...so we took a picture of it! It looked so funny and out of place. Our tour guide was a little boring, but I didn't care I was just so excited to be able to spend a whole day with my husband. So we went on the duck boat and it lasted a little over an hour then we got on the tram shuttle and went down to Quincy Market and there were a bunch of performers there. We watched break dancers, a guy dressed up as a lady that painted his whole body and clothes gold, and another guy that was just crazy! Then we walked in Quincy Market and it is just a bunch of different places to eat and then people have little booths and sell stuff. Then we took the tram back and went to the Prudential Building, it's like a little mall. So we walked around there for a little bit and then we went home. When we got home we decided we wanted to go to Target and dinner so Brad & Whitney Smith came and picked us up and we went to Target and just played around and spent money...then we went to the Olive Garden and had dinner. By the time we got out of dinner it was pouring rain so we weren't able to watch fireworks. Sad, I know...But we didn't care it was just really nice to be able to relax and have a normal persons life for a day. I was so happy & grateful that I was able to spend a whole day (that wasn't Sunday) with my husband so we could actually get out and go somewhere!!!! So for the Brooks Family...4th of July was a day we will cherish all summer long!
