10 months old!

Is it really possible that my sweet boy is 10 months old??? How did this happen?!

The poor guy has been having the hardest time lately.  He is getting is 4 top teeth in.. and has a little cold on top of it, he has been miserable!  And through it all, he has been the biggest sweetheart..  He might only want me (which I love) but he has been such a trooper.  I just can't wait for these teeth to break through so he can have a little relief.  He is so funny..  He is not in a hurry to do anything, LOVES to eat.. if he sees anyone eating, he needs to eat too!  Lets his sister know when she is bugging him.. and makes us laugh daily.  He has been such a perfect addition to our family, and we wouldn't trade him for the world!

at 10 months:

-refuses to eat baby food, so adult food it is.. with 2 teeth and all.  He is such a good gummer. 

-loves balls

-has taken a few steps and fallen, but is in no hurry to walk on his own (total opposite of Bristyn)

-Got his first fever, and his first time really being sick.

-Says ut oh.. and dada for everything.. Refuses to say mama anymore. haha!

-doesnt like tv

-loves to swing

-bangs his hands on anything and everything.. including his tiny cousin McKinley's head!

-loves being tickled, thrown around, and wrestles.

-plays catch.  He is seriously amazing at throwing balls.

-eats all day long.. he LOVES food! haha

-still loves his bottles, thanksfully!

-climbs in and out of his push around car.  He loves it

-loves watching Bristyn.. and attacking her

12 weeks!!

Well Bruce made it home from hunting just in time for my 12 week ultrasound!!!  This is my absolute favorite ultrasound.  I mean I love them all, but it always amazes me how much the baby looks like a baby in just a couple weeks from previous ultrasounds.  Just a couple weeks ago, this sweet baby was a tiny oval, not it has a head, fingers, toes, and all the major body parts.  It is just so amazing to me!  During the entire ultrasound this sweet baby had a little "pokey" sticking out.. any angle we would go it was right there.. Just like Bo's was..  So the ultrasound tech said she is 90% sure it is a boy!  She said she would be absolutely shocked if we came in 6 weeks and it fell off.. haha!  So it looks like we are having another sweet boy!!  I was happy with either one.. I totally thought it was a girl, and Bruce was sure it was a boy.. So its funny that he is right!  Bo will have so much fun with a little brother, and Bristyn gets to be our only princess for a little bit longer :)  

As for a name.. we have no idea!!  There are a few we like.. but none that feel like the right name.  We are also trying to decide if we want to stick with B's.. so this should be interesting!  

I just feel so grateful to be pregnant, and that we are able to welcome another sweet baby into our family.. what an amazing blessing.  We are so lucky.  I know this baby was meant to come to our family right now.  Here are a couple profile pictures of our sweet baby, his hands up to his face, and his private area haha!  

Daddy is home!!!!!!!!!

Can I just say it has been a long couple weeks!!!  ugh.  Bruce has been gone so much.. between sales trips, and hunting.. I swear he is never home.  

His brother Benson had a hunt.  Bruce, his dad and his brother left Wednesday night, and came home Sunday super late.  Bruce was here for a day and Tuesday early morning drove to California to fix a couple accounts and then try and make a sale.. He got one, and came home Thursday night.  Then Friday bright and early he got up and went back up to Benson's hunt and was there until Thursday.  It was a long two weeks....  It really didn't help that my neighbor came over and asked if we were having problems because Bruce is never home and they saw him pack up and leave.  Ugh, I seriously hate nosy neighbors! haha.  

Even though it was tough having him gone, I am so glad he was able to go hunting with his family.. he had so much fun!  It is something he looks forward to every year.  Absence makes the heart grow fonder right?!!?  I think so because I missed him like crazy!

Bristyn and Bo were so excited to see Bruce.. Bristyn's face in the picture explains it all.  I am just so grateful to have an amazing husband, that is such a good daddy!  My kids seriously adore the man.  If he is around forget mommy, they want to play with daddy!  I wouldn't have it any other way!  

This kid kills me.. I just love him so much!!

Bruce and I walked in the saw Bristyn sleeping with her hand in her pants and couldn't help but laugh.. We find her sleeping in the funniest positions.. I just love this sweet girl so much! I am so grateful to be her mom!!  She is growing WAY too fast..

Bristyn makes me laugh.. She is seriously so smart!  Today I told her that if she took a good nap she could have a sugar cookie after.. you better believe the first thing she said to me when she woke up is mommy my cookie now?  She amazes me daily, and keeps me laughing daily. I really need to start writing down some of the funny things she says..

a few off the top of my head..
-she had to go potty and I thought she was done so I took her off the toilet and she looks at me and goes mom I need back up there.  Bristyn doesn't want to poop on the floor!
-She calls Colton's girlfriend Barbie.. I'm starting to get concerned that she thinks thats her real name haha.
-without a doubt everytime she gets in the car from preschool she tells us what she wants for lunch.  I picked her up the other day and she goes mom.. I need chicken, fries, and apples ok?
-she calls cockroach.. crocketroaches

Well Bo had his post surgery checkup and we were able to take the catheter out (thank heavens)  What an experience!  He had to wear two diapers.. once for the poop, and then we had to weave the catheter into another diaper to catch the pee.  They also took his bandage off, and some of the bruising is going away.. and he's looking alot better!  This kid has been such a champ.. He only had to have pain medicine the first 2 days, and randomly since then, but not regularly like they said he would.  He is so tough!

9 months!!

Seriously??? Where has the time gone?? Our sweet baby boy is 9 months old?!  

This boy absolutely melts my heart.. He has a smile that will get him out of anything, and that just makes you smile when you see it.  He is the happiest, sweetest little boy in the world.  I am just so grateful Heavenly Father has trusted me to be his mom.  Since the day he was born he has just had the sweetest spirit about him.. I could walk in the room while he was sleeping and instantly feel the spirit and Heavenly Fathers love for him.  I do not know what I would do without him in my life.  

at 9 months:

-he has had surgery

-1 tooth.. he got it today!!

-loves to wrestle with daddy

-says mama and dada

-loves to be thrown in the air

-for some reason he loves the kitchen tile haha

-eats almost everything.. but needs his bottle room temperature or warm or he won't eat it.

-takes two 2-3 hour naps a day.

-Sleeps through the night.. FINALLY!

-had his first sleepover at my parents house while we were in Minnesota

-loves hitting things

-claps and waves

-loves to copy you

-loves balls!

Bo's surgery

Well the dreaded day has arrived and Bo just had his hypospadias surgery.  That was probably one of the hardest things I have had to go through.  We didn't realize it was going to be so intense.  He was completely put under, and the surgery took 2 full hours.  The second the Dr. came in and told us everything that was done in surgery I just started crying.. Hearing that my sweet baby had to go through that killed me.  Thankfully he had an amazing Dr, and he is doing awesome!

Minnesota

Well Bruce's granny passed away, so we all packed up and flew in Minnesota for the funeral.  Bruce and i decided to leave the kids at home, and had such a fun time spending time with just us.  We missed them like crazy, but it was much needed mommy and daddy time!  It was such a humbling and amazing experience watching my sweet husband digging his granny's grave with his brother and cousin.  It was such a beautiful service and I am so grateful we had the opportunity to go and attend.  I have heard about Minnesota since the day I met Bruce and I have always wanted to go visit, and I am so grateful I did.. We both miss it and loved it so much!  We were even able to go over the border to Canada and get some candy!  Ha, we almost didn't make it back.. but it was a fun trip!  

I am so grateful that I was able to know Bruce's sweet Granny Aleen.  She is one of the most incredible woman I know, and I heard some stories over the weekend that just made me think she is even more incredible than I could imagine.  I hope that I can be half the woman she was.  She was truly a woman of God!
