29 weeks

Well I am 29 weeks.. cant believe I only have 11 more weeks until I get to meet my little angel.  I can't wait!!  I have so much to do before he comes, and so little time.. I guess I need to get busy.  

Monster Bo

My sweet innocent little boy is not so innocent anymore.. In the past two weeks he has gotten completely out of control!  Not only is he go go go none stop.. he is also very adventurous, daring, and not afraid of anything.  He walks into a room to see what he can get into..  He has mastered climbing up and down the arms of the chair from the ground, climbing on a chair and then the kitchen table.. you name it and he has probably tried it.  I walked in to him on the kitchen table dancing the other day. haha!  The kid is a giant tornado that just doesn't stop and he keeps me busy all day long!  How do you even get mad at him when he gives you the most innocent amazing smile in the world.  He is also super smart.. He knows exactly what he is not suppose to get into and will walk up to it, stare you down with a smile, and then do it.  If you tell him no he flashes his smile and keeps going.. if you slap his hand he whines for 10 seconds and does it again.  Needless to say I have my hands full!  I am just so grateful he is such a happy good boy.. haha other than his craziness!  

Bo finally has a white church shirt that fits him and I think its so stinkin cute on him!  And Bristyn is completely in love with her new table and chairs. She thinks she is so cool being able to eat at her own table... and watch TV! haha.. or TB is how she says it!  I just loves these two so much and I am so grateful to be their mom.. I don't know why or how we were blessed with such special kids, but I am sure grateful!!!  I wouldn't trade being their mom for anything!

Bo woke up at 5am, and I was up talking to Bruce until almost 1.. so I was completely exhausted.. I accidently fell asleep on the couch for about 20-30 minutes tops and woke up to bristyn kissing me on the cheek looking like a green monster.  How do you even get mad at that???  She keeps me on my toes thats for sure!

I know its a month and a half late, but my kids have been sick since Thanksgiving, so i finally had a chance to do Bo's 1 year pictures.. and yet again my sister in la, Jessica did an amazing job!  They turned out amazing :)

cousins

These 4 cousins are all so close in age, and it is so much fun!  Rhett turned 3 in September and Bristyn will be 3 next month.. so they are 5 months apart, and Ridge will be 2 in May, and Bo just turned 1 so they are about 6 1/2 months apart.  For the most part they play so well together and love chasing eachother around.. I love that my kids have cousins so close in age!!!

crazy day

Well it all started yesterday.. I went to the grocery store and went to get Bo and the groceries out of the car.. I dropped my keys while holding all the groceries and Bo, and bent down to get them.. and I think I came up wrong.. I had a pain that went from the bottom right side of my belly down to the right side of my growing..  I was not doing good.  After having a bad nights sleep I decided I needed to call the Dr in the morning.. The nurse said I couldn't come in cause the ultrasound tech was off, so she sent me to labor and delivery to make sure it wasn't my placenta.  After an examination and monitoring Brix for awhile they came to the conclusion that I just pulled a muscle, thank heavens!!  I was so relieved it was nothing serious.  After I came home and took it easy, the kids had a blast playing in my parents front yard..  Like I have said a million times, I can't wait to get a yard that make kids can play in :)

WE PICKED A NAME!!!!!

Ladies and gentleman... our baby officially has a name!!!!!!!!

BRIX BROOKS!!!

My brother in law Benson actually thought of the name..  I was over there yesterday talking to him and my mother in law and telling them we just can't decide on a name.. and Benson said you should name him Brix.. I instantly loved it and said watch I will text Bruce and he will hate it.  Sure enough I text Bruce and to my surprise he said he actually liked it alot.. And thats when I knew it was the name!  It just felt right.

We are still working on the middle name, but hey I am just happy that I can finally call him something besides baby.  His middle name will be a family name, and we have a few in mind we just aren't sure what we want to use.  I am also so excited that our boys are going to be so close in age.  I am sure it will be hard, but it will be fun too!

And to hear Bristyn talk about her baby Brix just kills me!  Yesterday we were driving in the car and she goes mom, Baby Brix is just so cute and he is in Heaven with Jesus and when I get him I'm gonna hug him and kiss him and be really really careful with him.  I'll be careful with Jesus too mom.  Haha that girl is too cute!!

Countdown has officially begun, come meet us baby Brix!!!!

Frozen

Bristyn is obsessed with the new Disney movie Frozen..  I found a website that we could watch it online (which was exciting because it is still in the theater) and she was glued to it!! It was such a fun little date night with her, and I was happy to have the one on one time with her :)

Gunnar was baptized!

Gunnar got baptized this morning, so we went over to Justin and Katrina's house for some yummy breakfast after and the kids had a blast playing in their backyard.  We need a backyard they can play in soooo bad!!!!!  

I am so proud of Gun Bun and the choice he made to get baptized and receive the Holy Ghost.  I couldn't help but shed tears of joy as I watched my brother Justin baptize him, and then watch him emerge from the water so clean and pure.  I cannot wait until my kids are able to make that choice!!!

27 Weeks

Well I am 27 weeks!!! Woohoo.. Only like 13 weeks left... Hopefully less :)

I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by.. I just can't wait to meet our unnamed little boy!  It is driving me crazy we don't have a name yet..  With both Bristyn and Bo we knew right away what we were going to name them, with this baby I just have no idea.. nothing seems right.. We have gone through all types of options and although I like them alot.. none of them feel like "the name"

some of the names I like:  Brody, Brydin, Brayson, Braxton, Canon, Wyatt, Tate, Talan.

Some of the names Bruce likes: Baer, Barrett, Brock, Waylon, Briggs

But when it comes down to it, it will probably be Brody, Baer, Briggs, or Brock.  None just feel right.. 

Hmmm here is to hoping the right name will pop up :)

sickies

Well Bruce has been gone for a total of 2 days, so why don't we just do what we do best and get sick while he is gone :) haha!  I swear everytime he leaves for a work trip the kids get sick.  Its lovely.  I am just done with this cold and flu season!  We have had croup, phnemonia, stomach flu, all types of other flus.. and I am just read for healthy kids again!  I think I have been to church about 3 times since Thanksgiving.  Its lovely :)  This time they just have a bad cough and runny nose.. and Bo has been tugging on his ear so I wanted to get it checked out.. Luckily no ear infection, just a cold!  Thank heavens :)

hide and seek

 Daddy left yesterday so how about we get sick and have to stay home from church.. again!  haha at least we had fun playing hide and go seek, watching movies, and napping!

work work work

Well my Bruce left early this morning.. He is flying to Colorado to start a new adventure..

The past couple months him and a few guys have been working on starting their own insulation company and they are officially starting it Monday.  We are so nervous and excited for this new adventure and just pray it works out..  He loved when he was selling insulation before, and the rebates are even better now.. so hopefully things will work out :)

He will be out there for a couple weeks and then hopefully the kids and I will be able to join him.  Then we will be back again the beginning of February and he will go on quick trips.. take April off and then We will head out for the summer in May!  I am really excited for this new adventure :)
