more strawberries!

After church we decided to go pick strawberries again but with Daddy this time!  We went with the Stosich's and had so much fun!  Bristyn is obsessed with Tinley and all their kids are super sweet.  We put Brody and Taeya in a single stroller together and went on our way.  Since it rained yesterday it was sooo  hot and humid but we still had so much fun and came home with lots of yummy strawberries!  Everything is always so much better when Bruce is with us!

We decided to go and pick strawberries while the guys were at work today.. and it was a blast!!!  Bristyn was off playing with her friends and picking strawberries and I was helping Bo.  I was actually shocked to see how well Bo did.. Once I let him try one it all went down hill from there and he ate more than he picked, but it was so much fun! It rained on us, and we laughed the whole time!  It's so nice having a fun group of girls this summer!

My sweet friends Kim Riddoch and Jessica Stosich showed up today bringing treats and we had to get a picture of Brody and Taeya.  Brody is 2 1/2 months and Taeya is almost 5 months.. It is amazing to see the difference in just a couple months.. and Bo was obsessed with Taeya.. I think an arranged marriage is in order!  haha little cuties

Bristyn is hilarious.. She got a new unicorn purse and is obsessed.  After squealing in the store after seeing it, begging me for it, and telling me over and over in a very dramatic voice that she has NEVER had a unicorn before.  Especially a unicorn with sparkles and a diamond on it.. we got it.  The whole way home she treated it like a real life animal, finally picking a name for it, and reminding me that she has never had a unicorn before.  Once we got home she had to have a photo shoot with it.. She named the unicorn Diamond up in the Sky... and don't try calling it just Diamond, you will get in trouble!  She keeps me laughing daily.  She calls me Ms. Mommy, Mamas or Your Highness all day long.  Is obsessed with dragons, monsters, dinosaurs, alligators and sharks.. Wants anything that sparkles and loves ALL princesses.  She keeps me on my toes and asks me 100 times a day if we can be best friends.. I am just so grateful for her!

playing in the rain

There is a really cool trail about 5 minutes from our house.. It is a mile long trail and along the way there are little play areas with unique playground stuff, and then a big fishing pond and playground at the end.  It had been raining and we thought it would be fun to go play in the puddles and get the kids out of the house.  By the time we got all 9 kids out of the cars we realized there were mosquitoes galore!  5 seconds of being out of the car Bo ran and found the biggest puddle he could find and jumped right in the center of it.  He was covered in mud and water from head to toe.  The walk was seriously miserable and us girls could not wait to get our kids back in the car.. I cannot even explain how many mosquitoes there were.. they were everywhere and we all walked away with lots of bites!  Despite the pesky bugs the kids still had a lot of fun!

I have come to the conclusion that it is impossible to get a cute picture of all 3 kids.. but I wouldn't trade it for the world!  They each have their own cute personalities and they keep me laughing daily.  I am so grateful to be their mom!

From the first time Bristyn and Tinley met they have been little best friends.. running around holding hands and playing together.  They hadn't seen eachother for awhile so Bristyn asked if Tinley could come over and play and they had so much fun!

Father's Day

Today is Father's Day.. the day we get to celebrate my amazing husband!!  Bruce is my very best friend, the person I confide in, the love of my life, and the father of my children.  He works his bum off to provide for our family.  Our kids absolutely adore him.. everything about him.. from teasing each other to wrestling for hours.. he is always playing with them and making them laugh.  I just feel so grateful to have him in my life.. not only as my husband, but as my kids dad.  We would all be lost without him.  

car parade

Since it is the day before Father's Day selling was horrible, so the guys headed home early.. Our little town of La Porte, Indiana was having an old car parade for Father's Day.. They have done it every year for years.. it takes about 2 hours and hundreds of cars drive up and down the only main road through town (its a really small town)  It was so fun!  Even though our kids are too young to get into it they had fun playing around.  After we went to a little Mexican food place that we love we headed home and put the kids to bed.  It was the perfect Saturday night!
