Bristyn is 5!

How is she 5??  Time has gone so fast, and I can't even believe my angel is going to be starting school soon.  Bristyn is such a sweetheart.  She is the deepest thinker, is super shy at first, is the biggest tease in the world (like her daddy) She can out eat most adults, love barbies, loves to color and draw, hates cake, has lost one tooth and another one is loose, is taller than all the kids her age, loves water and playing outside, and loves all things girly.  Our family would be so imcomplete without her and we are so grateful she is ours!  

Since it was her 5th birthday we wanted it to be super special.  We went to breakfast in the morning and then headed to fat cats to see a movie and play some games.. Then we came home for a nap.  That night she had her birthday party at krazy air with all her cousins.. and to finish the night we went to Grandpa and Meema Brooks house to have cake and ice cream.  It was the perfect day for our perfect angel girl!!

Auggie

Bruce and I went on a little trip and left Auggie at my parents house like we normally do..  He is super close with scout and they love being together.  We got home and I kept forgetting to go pick him up.. I got a call from a number I didn't know so I didn't answer it.. It was a frantic boy saying he hit our dog on Ray and he doesn't think he will make it.  I immediately started freaking out and a couple minutes later another lady called Bruce's phone telling him what happened.  He was still alive but they didn't think he would be for long.. We got in the car as fast as we could and headed that way.. By the time we got there he was dead.  The boy had left, but the sweet lady that had witnessed it all wrapped him up in her blanket and put him in her car.  Loosing Auggie has been so hard.  I have had him for the last 10 years.. Bruce proposed with him.  He has been across the country a few times and back.  He has been my little best friend.  He was my buddy.. Never leaving my side and always right there next to me.  He was honestly the best dog in the world.  We still have no idea how he got out... He never got out, and if he did he would run to the front door and wait until someone saw him.  The lady said she saw him out so was trying to catch him and she scared him into the road.  Bristyn took it really hard, the boys didn't really understand what happened.. and Bruce and I have had a hard time too.  Obviously me the most.  We took him across the street to my parents house (it happened right infront of their house) and buried him.. Bristyn asked if we could write his name on a rock so we did.  Auggie will be missed thats for sure!!

February

February was a crazy month for us.. it was fun, had some good times and some bad times.. But overall it was pretty good.  Auggie died, Bristyn turned 5, Valentines day, disneyland and all types of fun in between!!

-Bruce and I went on a little road trip for his work.. It was my first time being away from the kids and we had alot of fun!  We drove to vegas, and from there went to St. George for his meeting drove around the town and saw the Temple, then headed back to Vegas for a couple days.  We didn't do anything to exciting.. Our hotel had a movie theater and all kinds of restaurants in it so we didn't leave much.  It was fun to just relax and just spend time together.  

-Rocky came in town for a day and it was pure amazingness.  I miss my brother way too much!! You would think it would get easier over the years.. But I still just miss them so much.  We need to move closer to them!

-BoBo is potty trained!!!  He was so easy and has done soooo good!  I didn't even really have to do it.. most the time he wouldn't even tell me he was going in to go until he was done.  I guess that is the beauty to waiting until he was 3.. Only 1 in diapers is pure amazingness!

-Bo fell asleep on my parents floor and it was hilarious!

-Bruce and I went on a Valentines date and it was so fun to spend time with him.  I seriously love that man so much!

-Anytime Bo is outside he thinks he can just pull his pants down and pee.  Its hilarious and embarrassing

-The kids threw rocks in Bruces parents pool, so he had to jump in and clean it out.  He was freezing cold!

-My parents came to say hi and the kids smothered them with books!
